Thanksgiving is gone and if you were anything like me you ate until you were close to exploding. If you weren’t like me – good job!
But, uh oh – now you have to get past all the holiday eating in December and make it to the New Year. Well, let the countdown begin.
Here are 12 days of exercises that most anyone can do to keep trim-or-at-least-trimmer-than-you-would-be-had-you-not-done-anything:
Before you do any of these exercises please do a 5-10 minute warm up first. This will help prevent any injury. Make sure at least 24 hours have passed before doing the next day’s exercises to allow for proper rest (for example, doing these exercises at the same time each day will work well). Always end with at least a 5 minute cool down and/or 5 minutes of stretching. As always please consult your physician before beginning any exercise and/or nutrition program, as well as questions about any medical condition.
These exercises are meant to start you off basic and build into more intense activity each day. There’s no equipment needed, they are beginner friendly, and they won’t take up much of your time.
You made it!
Go enjoy yourself on Christmas Eve and Christmas knowing you just did an amazing job of fitness activities leading up to these days.
You can also continue using these exercises to stay on track with your fitness goals. A little bit goes a long way if you stick with it. Build on the routines each day. Make it fun. Add in your own moves. You’ll be amazed how many things you can come up with and how long you can stay motivated.
I like it! I need more squats in my life…they are so good for you! #wowlinkup
Squats are also one of the easiest and simplest exercises to do! Thanks for stopping by!
I like this workout and plan to share it on my fan page! My group would love to do this challenge. #wowlinkup
Thank you so much Diatta! Let me know how they do!
This is a great idea! It’s so important to try to do something active every day #wowlinkup
You’re so right! Every little bit counts! Thanks Heather!
Great little list! I’m pretty active, but I tend to sit a lot for work, so I should use these as things to break up my work day and get my butt off the chair. #wowlinkup
That is actually a great idea!
