
If you love smoothies like me then I’m pretty sure you have some favorite 2 ingredient combos that you just can’t seem to get away from no matter how hard you try.
I think I ALWAYS end up using some combo of chocolate, peanut butter, and banana and sometimes it’s hard just picking two out of the three!
And it’s not to say you can’t add any more ingredients, but the 2 ingredient combos below will take your smoothie taste to the next level. There are a ton of combos I came up with and managed to narrow the list down to 45!
Before we get to the combos decide whether you want to make your smoothie green or not.
Making it green
You can choose to make your smoothie green using anything from kale, spinach, chard, broccoli, frozen peas, and arugula, to Brussels sprouts, parsley, celery, cabbage, and lettuce.
OR you can still veggy it up with non-green veggies like carrots & red cabbage.
Now, let’s move on to the good stuff!

Choose your favorite (I know…it’s hard!)

- dark sweet cherries
- hazelnut
- frozen banana
banana &
- peanut butter (or any nut butter)
- bee pollen
- strawberries
- raw honey
- mango
- turmeric
- peach
- mixed berries
- pineapple
- papaya
- blackstrap molasses
- orange
avocado &
- cacao powder
- apple
- ginger
- mixed berries
- orange
- pineapple
- mint
blueberries &
- almond butter (or any nut butter)
- lemon juice
- pineapple
- mint
- coconut or shredded coconut
- banana
- mango
Then you also got the following combos:
- cinnamon & orange
- blackberry & mint
- raspberry & peach
- pumpkin & pineapple
- orange & mango
- apple & cinnamon
- strawberry & kiwi
- carrot & mango
- pineapple & papaya
- strawberry & peach
- watermelon & mint
- orange & vanilla extract
At this point you can also decide to add additional fruits and/or veggies.
Pick your liquid
Sometimes the liquid you choose can make or break your smoothie, too. You can try the above combos with non-dairy milks like coconut, rice, hazelnut, cashew, macadamia, and hemp. Or go a whole different direction and use coconut water, kombucha, green tea, or 100% fruit or veggie juice.

I really like the peanut butter banana some oat milk and some chia seeds thrown in. Just tried yesterday a berry and avocado smoothie which was pretty amazing.
