
Who doesn’t love chocolate covered strawberries? Or chocolate covered anything for that matter? Am I right?
So, if you’re a regular reader of this blog you shouldn’t be surprised I went with a chocolate smoothie recipe 🙂
If you don’t like strawberries, you can substitute with any berry for that matter. The results will be just as delicious!
I just used strawberries because they are my favorite berry.
Since this is a very filling smoothie, it makes a great breakfast!
Chocolate Covered Strawberries Breakfast Smoothie
This recipe serves 2.
What you’ll need:
- 1 cup hemp milk (or water, almond, or coconut milk)
- ½ avocado
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1 tablespoon flax seeds
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon raw cacao powder
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a blender or magic bullet – blend until smooth. Enjoy!
Feel free to top with more strawberries and add in additional fruit or toppings (like sliced bananas and homemade granola!)
