Believe it or not I am not crazy about the taste of avocado. I’ll eat guacamole or put it in a smoothie, but eating it in pure form on a sandwich or something? Not. Happening.
Yes, I’m weird like that.
BUT, despite me having to always disguise the taste of avocado it has its good side.
Avocado is a very good choice of fat. It’s actually the fruit with the highest fat content, but don’t start thinking that’s a bad thing here.
We all need fat in our bodies for certain bodily processes, specifically monounsaturated fat & omega 3 fatty acids. And an avocado is a source for both of these.
Don’t think avocado is a good food yet?
Here are 7 health benefits of avocado and you can decide for yourself:

- fights free-radical damage
Now, on to the recipe…way to get me to eat an avocado!
