Last year I wrote about how much I love Thanksgiving. This year I decided to write about all the things I’m thankful for! We all have THAT year. You know what I’m talking about. You didn’t think you would make it through like you did and you just need to shout it from the rooftops that you are thankful for everything that has happened.
This is one of those times for me, let me tell you!
I have way more things to be thankful for but I spared you and only shared 9 here today.
1. My family
I say this and I know it may sound a little dramatic, but without my family I don’t think I would be able to go on with life. Especially, when it comes to my kids. You have one kind of love for your kids and another one for your spouse. I love them both. I also, love my mother very much – she helps us out tremendously during the week!
2. My job
I’ve been pretty fortunate for the most part in finding a good paying job. So, with that said I am VERY grateful. Is it my ideal job? No, but I’m thankful for it nonetheless.
3. My husband’s job
We are a two income household. I would love to get to the point where that isn’t a must, but until then I’m happy that we are both able to work and provide for our family.
4. My health
I’ve had a couple of ups and downs and still trying to figure out the best things for me, but hey…it could be a whole lot worse!
5. My business
I stepped out in faith to start my health & wellness business. Yes, it is a lot of work still working full time, with my business on the side and everything else I have going on, but it keeps me happy. If I wasn’t pursuing my dream I wouldn’t be satisfied with myself. It would have always been tugging at me to start it. There is no perfect time to start your own business so you have to just go for it! In the end it’ll all be worth it…have no regrets!
6. My wisdom
I am thankful I am able to make some tough decisions…especially when it turns out to be the right one! That comes from having faith and listening.
7. My home
We have been experiencing highs and lows when it comes to our home situation (I hope to share this later with you). But, all in all, especially when it comes to kids, it’s good to know that we have a roof over our heads.
8. My church
I’m thankful that my husband and I have gotten more involved in our church. I used to be involved long ago at our old church. But, after we made the switch it was a slow start to get back involved again. It’s good to be a part of something again.
9. My marriage
I don’t care what anyone tells you – there is no such thing as the perfect marriage. It takes a lot of work and it can be healthy, but it still won’t be perfect. Let’s just say I am very thankful that we are at this point in our lives now. And I’m thankful that we continue to improve everyday.
What are you thankful for this year?
